The title ofthe study is "Method of Number Concept Introduction for Children Age Group 4-5 Years Old in Kindergarten Schools. This research study aims to determine the introduction of the concept of numbers in the age group 4-5 years old children in kindergarten LKIA I, Pontianak. The research method was descriptive research with qualitative approach., Forms of research is a phenomenological study. The data of this researchis a method of learning that teachers use in the introduction of the concept of numbers. Sources of data used in this study include teachers, principals, and children. The results showed that the methods used by teachers in introducing the concept of numbers are a method of storytelling, play, field trips, demonstrations, conversation, and delivery tasks. The percentage of children the concept of numbers from 1-10 is 100% child has can count number, 37.5% of children are not familiar insignia numbers and 62.5% of children are familiar with the symbol number. The supporting factors area complete play, a lot of story books, support from parents and those associated with learning. In hibiting factors are the adding capacity of different children and short term concentration of the children.
